As part of our Level Design course, we were tasked to conceptualize a game as a class that could be split into various levels.
While the game was created as a team, it was later up to individual students to design a level based on the game.
The class came up with a stealth-and-escape styled platformer, in which players controlled a small alien trying to escape the depths of Area 51.
The game would switch between 2D and 3D levels in order to better accomodate various level concepts.
The alien must first find keycards on every floor it visits in order to progress. It can also collect various collectibles that give the player points.
The player must also avoid the “Seekers”, who relentlessly search and try to destroy the little anomaly.
