3-D Model: Pandora’s Box

The Module “Digital Art” was split into two sub modules:

“Game Visualisation” 

and 

“Characters, Objects & Assets”

The task for Characters, Objects & Assets was to conceptualize and create a 3-D Object that was to be used in the Game Trailer being made in the other sub module.

My version of Pandora’s Box was to be intricate and multi-dimensional, like a faceted puzzle box.

In addition, the bright gold material of the box serves as a metaphor for the temptation of opening it.

The mysterious symbols on the box stand for the powers of the heroes that sealed an ancient threat in the box a milennia ago.

They coincide with the 5 senses, with a 6th symbol added to symbolize magic and the power of a 6th sense.
